Upcoming Show

Thought I would let you know that I am having a one-person show at Chestnut Hill Chiropractic and Rehabilitation in January and February.  I will be displaying all my wall art.  It's a lovely little office at

180 Wells Avenue #302.
Newton, MA 02459
Their office number is 617.332.5105.

I know these are slow months and it is so cold, but the office is warm, and maybe you will either start early on holiday gifts for next year or find something special for another occasion.  Valentine's Day is coming up after all . . .

Come and check out my work!

DeCordova

Here are images of one of the pieces I dropped off at the deCordova Museum Shop yesterday.  It's called DNA4, as it is the fourth is a series along this design.  I can make it in varying colors and with varying kinds of embellishments.  It's kind of fun to make and very comfortable to wear.

new piece coming together

Hi everyone,
It's been a while due to some severe migraines.  Anyone out there also a migraineur?  Wew--they really do take your breath away.  You know people say childbirth is the worst pain, but I gave birth without painkillers and with pitocin (sp?) and I gotta say, some of my migraines are worse.  But enough complaining.  I am back to work and so happy to be here.  I want to show a piece that evolved from the 100-day challenge. it's just a quick scan, as I haven't had time yet to get it photographed, but I hope you all get the idea.
The piece started as a photograph, which I printed onto fabric, embroidered, quilted, painted, wrote on and beaded.  I have an idea for a whole series like this, but we will see what come of it.

Below are a few of my jewelry pieces.  I will be dropping a few off at the Store @ the deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park.  For anyone in the Boston area, that is a fabulous museum!

The Art Deco Pins go along the "backlace" (i.e., necklace worn on the back) I made to collaborate with fashion designer Maya Meirav.  The dress and backlace are now sold separately, but you can wear the backlace on the back or in the front by using the pins, whereas with the dress, it was sewn in.
